"It's only Wales" -Jean-Baptiste Ellisalde, before France fell to Wales in the 2008 Grand Slam. THAT is arrogance.

and for pity sake,..
Will someone other than Islandpower and the Welsh lads actually take the time to read the article and not just the headline before commenting....

No chip,... I just think your first comment smacked of a bad loser,.. I don't look at regional nationallity first.. wasn't raised that way,.. it'd be the same if a Scots or Irish man had made that same comment,..
If England had 4 from 4,... they'd have every right to talk about a grand slam,.. they'd have earned it.
I personally don't care too much about a GS,... although it would be nice,... what is important to me is the 6N title

@andyb who said arrogant?
Most people would agree that the Welsh should win the grand-slam including me, but theirs 80 minutes of sporting contest before you can start saying its won (potentially 160 minutes to be sure of the championship).

I know that Ryan Jones is not an arrogant guy, which is why I used Tom Croft (also not arrogant) as a direct comparison. I just commented on how much stick would be given to the English for talking about "this one" (ie. Grand Slam)" when comparing it to previous slams.
spike19 and jose_jones appear to have proven my implied point (that Celtic supporters appear to have an extremely large chip with reference to the England team/English supporters) for me!

BMakka8 & jamesliveinhope,
There is no arrogance in this article what so ever, and if you know and watch rugby you would know that this guy is one of the least arrogant out there!
And why should Wales not be thinking Grand Slam now??? Forget IFS & BUTS...That's the game, and every team can count them! We are where we are, and you are whetre you are...live with it...it's called sport!

Ahhhh booohooo why does the rest of the rugby world always gang up on the English?????
What is it that makes it that much more satisfying when they go down even if its not your team playing????
Well to be honest there are 1 million reasons so I could go on all day, but for now here's one.
"Austin Healey" (what a t**t)!!

@BMakka8
Wales have won four games from 5 and have the last one at home,.. Makes no difference who it is,.. these players have taken and given the knocks,.. they are entitled to talk about a grand slam,.. if not now,.. when???
England lost,... it's history now... there were bad calls against both teams,.. happens at every level of rugby, acceptance of something you can't control is one of the oval ball lessons.
and while we are here lets not start talking about arrogance either shall we,... read the headline as "will",...... read the story as "would".... read properly.. and don't look for excuses to stick the boot in.

Don't make the same mistake as England last year. This will be the toughest game of the championship for Wales.

Imagine if the knock on in the lead up to Scott Williams's try at Twickenham had been spotted and it was England four wins to the good.
Would anybody like to guess how much vitriol and claims of arrogance their would be on these pages if an English player such as Tom Croft started talking of the Grand Slam?!
