Bulls second-row Victor Matfield is confident the Springboks will lift the World Cup next year and wants to be part of the winning squad in 2015.
The 36-year-old, who has come out of retirement in an attempt to make the group that will head for England, is playing Super Rugby this season.
And with the Rugby World Cup on the horizon, he has stated that the in-form Springboks are likely to pick up a third Webb Ellis trophy in their history.
"I have played in three World Cups and won one," he told the Rapport newspaper.
"In my view, the current Bok team is the best one ever and will take the trophy next year.
"I want to be part of that team. It would be absolutely fantastic to finally walk away from the game in such a triumphant manner and then turn my focus to coaching."
