Lwazi Mvovo, 15 provisional games, only played rugby since he was 17 and now he is 1st replacement for an underperforming Bryan Habana. Does anything more need to be said???

This whole thing does not need to be about colour, but can "Justice 4 all" please explain Peter De Villier's appointment??? Should Nick Mallet not be coach?

In ref to my message posted 08:49 05th December 2010

Before I get hammered by everyone, I know this was not a proper test. But the green and gold should be worn by those who deserve it.

To Justice 4 All - I can only hope I am wrong about Elton Jantjies, but I thought we were preparing for World Cup 2011.

Let's be certain about one thing, test rugby should be played to win and not be used as some type of development program.

The Abs lost to the Baa Baas on the 2009 tour, It was a 2nd string side, much the same as that of the Boks.

The major difference here is that G Henry and co were livid.

Loosing to a makeshift thrown together side is not something to be impressed with.

I try really hard not to mention the ref in any match, but I thought he ref'd only one team yesterday - I thought the barbarians got away with murder!!

Performing well at Currie Cup or S14 level is far removed from international level.

A 2nd/3rd string Boks against a rag tag team with only a week to prepare and it's blatantly obvious that the so called super talented Bok youngsters are a million miles off the likes of O'Conner.

Listen you, Git, it is not that relevant when it is a 3rd string national side. Could have been a 30 point margin. Played in good spirit though.

Not bad for a third string side but I would have liked to see the match so it's illogical for me to comment on the play.

It takes very little to make this Springbok coach "very happy". He just doesn't get it, but I was surprised that in the end the score was as close as it was. While 'Beast' and Strauss were still part of the Bok front row the Boks began taking apart the Barbarians in the set pieces, but again the backs show little penetration. The fact, too, is that you need a kicker to win a game. The Boks didn't have one and here Elton Jantjies proved no better than Lambie. Jantjies also really didn't show up to the the extent I thought he would and Lambie looked more solid, but we can now see that these two are 'work in progress' - which just shows how special James O'Connor is at his age.
