Prop Thomas Domingo and number eight Louis Picamoles were recalled to France's preliminary squad for Saturday's Test against South Africa in Paris.
They take over from lock Yoann Maestri, who is suspended after being sent off against Tonga at Le Havre on Saturday, and flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo, who injured a shoulder in the same match.
The rest of the squad is unchanged as coach Philippe Saint-André looks for another win following the 26-19 defeat at the hands of New Zealand and the 38-18 victory over the Tongans.
Picamoles returns to the fold after missing several games due to a troublesome hip injury, having won 38 caps previously.
Domingo had been sidelined with a knee injury sustained playing for his club side Clermont in October.
