Can play in the Six Nations: Szarzewski

Racing-Métro hooker Dimitri Szarzewski has been handed a 10-day suspension for foul play at an LNR disciplinary hearing.

The French international was found guilty of striking Agen's Marc Giraud during their Top 14 match in on December 29.

Szarzewski was given a 20-day ban but 10 of those were suspended, meaning he will be able to play again on January 26, in time for France's Six Nations opener against Italy.

He will however miss Saturday's Heineken Cup match against Munster.

In other disciplinary news from France, Bordeaux-Bègles back Blair Connor and Grenoble fly-half Valentin Courrent were also suspended for 10 days for their "indiscipline" when the teams met in the Top 14 last month.
