Why O Why Deccie do you persist with Heaslip at 8 and a mis-matched hallf-back pairing if you insist on Murray then play O'Gara(as a side issue after his showing in the junior world cup JJ Hanarahan should be his understudy at Munster next season), or Reddan with Sexton.

Wales won the Grand slam in 2008 playing 12 ospreys in their side, if you want Ireland to be competative and try to get a result you should be donig like wise.

Kidney bolsters the team with Leinster players and leaves out the crucial link in Reddan at 9 for a much faster, longer and snappier delivery, which these backs play better with, that has been proven with Leinster, markedly the best team in Europe, for 2 full seasons now!!!...What Kidney sees and what we see are 2 completely different quantities, what is he thinking?? Because besides this, Murray had a very uninspiring game in the 1st test and showed no tenacity, giving away 2 stupid crucial penalties, and early on, for slow put ins in an area Ireland needed to try and be at their best, the scrum. He also kicked away possession on far too many occasions instead of implementing pick and go or feeding Sexton who thrives on flatter quick ball. Not only this, Murray never pressurized the rookie AB 9, Smith, with any authority. I'd actually prefer to see Tomas O' Leary playing in view of the fact Kidney just will not partner Sexton with Reddan, at least O' Leary would pressure his opposite 9 and has the ability to score tries with his pace.

I would have preferred to see O' Brien at 8, with either O' Mahony or Henry at 7 and Heaslip on the bench. Reason is, that the AB 9, 10 and 12 channel were not put under enough pressure in the last game and Heaslip is simply not doing enough effective carrying work, so why have him, save him to come on and maybe offer some impact and prove to Kidney that he shouldn't have been dropped. If Leinster were playing this kind of opposition they would probably start with Jennings because he is an out and out 7.

I would give Ireland an outside chance if they picked the right team, but the odds on Ireland have gone out to 12/1 with the bookies as against 15/2 for the last game, the reason the bookies make money is because they are smart. Ireland have a better chance of beating the European and World Champions, Spain, in tonights Euro 2012!

I'm a Munster supporter and I'd certainly agree. Why oh why can't Kidney select the Leinster Heinken cup winning partnership. Murray is better than reddan defensively but his service is too slow and we've got to attack. Jonny plays better with Reddan. Nothing much else to quibble with in the selection. Trimble should have been playing last week and every week. Leinster back row need to stand up and be counted.

This team has a more balanced look to it but do not understand how Murray is there after his performance last week.

Still hard to see this tired group of players - in need of a break - do anything but lose by at least 2 tries to the best team in the world on their home turf on great form.

Glad to see Trimble in there, still not sure about McFadden on the wing, he's a much better centre. Hopefully we'll get to see O'Brien play like he did in the Heineken Cup final with a familar backrow to work with.

I like all of those changes. They might as well give the guts of the Leinster team a chance, they were the ones showing most form prior to this tour. By that rationale though, makes no sense whatsoever to persist with Murray. Sexton never looks himself with him at SH.

Oh no, not Murray again. He has so many steps he is destined for Strictly Come Dancing. his box-kicking is woeful, his decision making is far too slow and he has not an ounce of understanding with Sexton. Play Leisnter-style rugby and get Reddan in there. We'll still lose but we'll lose with style !
