Earl's will get knocked over and Zebo doesn't defend well at club level..what does kudney think is going to happen here

A question on Earls: I have always seen him playing on the wing (where I think he is very good) or outside centre (he did not look bad). I read he plays also as a fullback, though I never saw him in that position and always wondered if he is good enough at tackling for that.
Any experience as inside centre? Does he really have the skills/frame for that or is Ireland very short on players currently?

In fairness to the management team, it seems like they've tried to pick an attacking side. The issue I have is why pick Murray with Sexton when that partnership has never really put in a decent performance together.Makes no sense whatsoever to me. Sexton is a potential game winner and they should be picking whoever suits his game best and thats Reddan.
Kearney is probably the only back who would have half a chance of getting the NZ team. I imagine the pack will be competitive, but would be a lot stronger with Ferris and O'Connell in there.
Sad to say, I can only see us getting destroyed.

Zebo's defence is a bit suspect as well but the lad's a joy to watch with the ball in hand... I'd be worried about the scrum but not so much about SBW. He's a one trick poney (admittedly a good trick) and Ireland will have some strategy to counter it that doesn't depend on Earls (I hope...)

Will BOD play at 12 I wonder? Did so before in triple crown winning season in 2004. Darcy had an outstanding season at 13 that year. That was when he could play

Un-be-liev-able! Before this Irish selection, I was mainly going to watch the game to see how the AB debutants went, and how many metres SBW made down D'Arcy's channel. In recent times, Kidney has made the Vatican look positively radical. But gone are the journeymen Trimble, D'Arcy & O'Callaghan, and at least if Ireland lose, it won't be for a stolid selection. Can Fitzpatrick avoid a Tom Court? Can the back row shut down McCaw? Will Heaslip keep his self-control? Can Murray pass quickly enough? Can Earls contain SBW? Will Zebo & McFadden be defensive weak-links? Plenty to look forward to now!!
