Sandal - Boss did get to play v NZ, in NZ (Auckland), way back in 06; he came on as a sub for Stringer. Looked at NZ team that day just McCaw, and subs Hore/Nonu likely to face Ireland this time round (Mealamu played too).
I don't remember/know why Boss left, just a see the world phase he can't have been far off AB selection?

That's a shame, Boss is agreat player but he probably won't be missing much action as Kidney wouldn't have picked him anyway, nor did he pick him when he was the on form 9 in Ireland. Murray will start and Reddan on the bench.
