Disappointment: Taulupe Faletau

Wales star Taulupe Faletau is disappointed that he will not get the chance to face off against his cousin, England's Billy Vunipola.

Vunipola has been ruled out of the rest of the Six Nations with ankle ligament damage after withdrawing in the first half against Ireland.

Faletau is cousins with Saracens duo Billy and Mako Vunipola but will not get the chance to go head-to-head with the dynamic number eight, who has made a big impact in the Six Nations.

England instead are set to field Gloucester number eight Ben Morgan at the back of the scrum, another player with close ties to Wales having previously played for the Scarlets.

Faletau has been in good form for Wales as Warren Gatland's side continue their quest for a third successive Six Nations title by winning at Twickenham next Sunday.

"It's a big blow for them to lose Billy because he has been playing well throughout the tournament," Faletau told the Western Telegraph.

"Ben Morgan has done well coming off the bench but Billy's a big loss.

"It would have be nice to go up against him, it would have been fun but tough.

"He's done so well with his ball-carrying and is a hard man to stop but he is also very good at the breakdown - once he is on the ball he is tough to move.

"He has played well throughout the Six Nations and it's a shame it had to end this way but Ben Morgan is a strong carrier as well and I am sure he will fill in well for Billy."
