England hooker Dylan Hartley has been released from hospital after receiving treatment for a bruised lung.
Hartley was replaced in the second-half with England's lineout struggling shortly afterwards.
"Dylan Hartley was taken to hospital following yesterday's QBE International against New Zealand and treated for bruising to a lung," read an RFU statement.
"He was further assessed at Pennyhill Park this morning by the England medical team and has been discharged into the care of Northampton Saints.
"Dylan will require a few days' rest and will be re-assessed by his club's medical team next week."
Northampton will hope to have their influential captain healthy for the upcoming next two rounds of the Heineken Cup.
