Newport Gwent Dragons boss Lyn Jones has confirmed that full-back Dan Evans will leave the club at the end of the current season.
Evans is out of contract in June and the 25-year-old is set to be let go following the signing of former Wales full-back Lee Byrne.
The Dragons also have rising star Hallam Amos on their books, leaving little room for Evans to play next season.
Evans joined the Dragons in 2012 from the Scarlets and was the club's top try scorer last season with nine.
"We've got to think of the future," Jones told the South Wales Argus.
"Dan is a really good player and I am sure he will have no problem picking up a deal with an English or Welsh club in the future.
"That's all I wish, that players move on and do as well as they can.
"I've made a decision that Lee Byrne and Hallam Amos will be our full-backs next year and I am sticking to that."
