Saracens scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth was delighted by his side's crushing 49-10 victory over Leicester Tigers on Saturday.
The bonus-point win at Allianz Park ensured Sarries retained their place at the top of the Premiership table over Christmas.
And the 30-year-old scrum-half, who has been in fine form through recent weeks, admitted the buzz around such an important fixture was hugely exciting among the squad.
"It doesn't get any better than that" said Wigglesworth.
"I've been ready for this one all week. I was dying to get out there today - I'm delighted."
Wigglesworth also heaped praise upon his team-mates for emerging triumphant in such emphatic style.
"I thought the boys were outstanding today," added Wigglesworth.
"With the conditions we were expecting a tight game so to come away with the bonus point win is fantastic."
