Starting 10: Paddy Jackson
Ulster fly-half Paddy Jackson will start for Ireland in place of the injured Johnny Sexton against Scotland in the Six Nations.
Jackson is preferred to Ireland stalwart Ronan O'Gara, who is named amongst the replacements.

Keith Earls comes onto the left wing to replace the injured Simon Zebo, whilst Donnacha O'Callaghan starts in the second row alongside Donnacha Ryan.
Leinster lock Devin Toner and Ulster back row Iain Henderson are named on the bench.

Cabbage-Head actually selects promising youth. Pinch me, I must be dreaming! Oh wait a sec, I see that his aul Munster chippendale O'Callaghan and his ginger love-child Earls have been drafted in, despite Toner and Fitzgerald being in great form. Two steps forward, three steps back. Oh well. Personally, I think Madigan has much more potential than Jackson.

Kidney be Gone! The irish public have been calling for change for years, this is not the change we want. We want O'Gara gone, Madigan in and Jackson to sub, Marshall is good but maybe a bit to soon to go full international. I'd like to see Fitzy, McFadden or Downey get a run @12 although Downey isn't really on form. Delighted he resisted the urge to put Earls @12 though. Its about time Fitzy is back in the international fold and i'm delighted to say O'Callaghan has proved me wrong. I thought he was finished but he has reinvented himself and should have been ahead of McCarthy in the first place. I don't think big Dev has what it takes to be an international, for me all he has is a good (excellent) lineout.
