James Horwill: Rolled his ankle
Prop James Slipper will captain the Reds in Friday's trial match against the Chiefs with skipper James Horwill a late withdrawal from the game.
The Reds lock rolled his ankle during a heavy contact session on Tuesday and has reluctantly been withdrawn following the advice of medical staff late Wednesday afternoon.
Horwill will continue to train with the team from next week when a decision will be made on his availability for the Reds Super Rugby season opener against the Brumbies in Canberra.
Slipper will take over the captaincy duties for Friday's trial against the Chiefs with centre Ben Tapuai chosen as the team's vice-captain.

I hope this guy gets a good report and it is not as serious as it sounds. This guy has had some rotten luck with injury and I wish him God speed. Nobody would want to see him miss yet another season. Good luck James your due for some.
