London Wasps have announced that scrum-half Stuart Commins and centre Charlie Hayter will join the squad for the remainder of the season.
Commins brings with him Aviva Premiership experience from Northampton, having previously made 17 appearances for the Saints, and he was also part of the Oxford side who won the Varsity game at Twickenham earlier this season.
He joins as Joe Simpson departs for two weeks with the England Saxons, and will come into the mix for selection this weekend for the LV= Cup game against Leicester at Welford Road.
Promising centre Charlie Hayter joins the club from RFU Championship side Moseley, where he has been an ever-present this season and was a standout performer for the RFU Championship XV against the New Zealand Maori. He has previously represented Worcester.
"These are two positions in which we needed to add depth. We're losing two centres - Andrea Masi and Elliot Daly - to international duty in the coming weeks and with a long-term injury to Lee Thomas, adding another centre to the squad was important," said Wasps director of rugby Dai Young.
"Charlie has been very good at Championship level so we're looking forward to seeing what he can do.
"With Joe Simpson with the England Saxons for a few weeks combined with the fact that we haven't replaced Nic Berry, who retired earlier in the season, we also needed another scrum-half and Stuart has good experience and has fitted in well so far."
Wasps also confirmed that England lock Tom Palmer will be out for eight weeks due to surgery on a calf injury.

Charlie Hayter looks like he can become a quality inside centre for them. He's a big lad at 6ft 1 and 100kg but with some real pace. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.
