Lewis Evans: Dragons skipper

The Dragons have made just one change to their matchday squad for Saturday's PRO12 encounter at Treviso.

Scrum-half Jonathan Evans is selected to start, whilst Wayne Evans takes his place on the bench. Jonathan returns to the starting line-up after being selected for the majority of this seasons games.

Consistency is then kept within the rest of the Dragons team following on from a good performance against Northampton and a win at home against Connacht.

Captain Lewis Evans and his troops hope that the continuity in selection this week provides the same result as it did in their last Pro12 clash against Connacht.

Meanwhile, Treviso have picked a powerful and reliable front row with Alberto De Marchi, Leonardo Ghiraldini starting and Lorenzo Cittadini starting from the bench.

Captain Antonio Pavanello and Corniel Van Zyl are back as first-choice locks while Simone Favaro, Alessandro Zanni and Manoa Vosawai are preferred in the back row.

Amongst the backs, Alberto Di Bernardo starts at fly-half where he will form a partnership with experienced scrum-half Edoardo Gori who returns from international duty with Italy.

Alberto Sgarbi and Christian Loamanu start in midfield and the back three sees Luke McLean joining full-back Brendan Williams and fellow wing Ludovico Nitoglia.

Form: Benetton Treviso have lost their last three matches in the RaboDirect PRO12. Treviso are going for a trio of home wins against Welsh opposition this season, having already beaten Ospreys and Scarlets at the Stadio Monigo. Treviso have lost just one of their last six home games against Welsh regions. Dragons ended a seven game losing streak in all competitions with their 14-3 home win over Connacht on Friday. Dragons have not won on the road since they visited Edinburgh on 23 March. Treviso have won three of the four previous RaboDirect PRO12 encounters they have played against the Dragons.
