Hansen and Smith have so far proved they are still good beyond the three wise monkey set up. Let's see if Henry does the same. Presumably success is measured by ending up above three of: Chiefs, Crusaders, Highlanders, Hurricains? Or making S15 knock out stages? Or both. I'm not as bullish as those in this chain that they will do that. Not sure they need a high level man in there and guess his impact will be like Sir Ian McGs impact on Bath.

The Blues will improve next year regardless of the coaches. The younger players are coming through, its unlikely that the run of injuries will happen next year and the management have finally put in more expertise - which the failed to do for Lam.

Scraping in on a wobbly Donald penalty at home in the W Cup after 8 years with probably the world's best rugby squad hardly qualifies as the best coach in the world. His Wales experience was inferior to Gatland's and his failed Lions tenure must be taken into account too. Henry is an outstanding politician though.

It is high time that the Blues started performing.... they certainly have the personnel in the right places to make that a reality for 2013.

I am sure that if Monty Python was still around that it could do a great skit on the 'Two Knights of the Oblong Table'.

Good luck Sir John, Sir Graham and the rest of the team!

Whatever your doubts are on John Kirwan, the addition of Graham Henry and Mick Byrne seem to make a pretty formiddable coaching team. Blues may be alright after all.

Looks like the Crusaders and Chiefs are in deep trouble as the blues coaching team is the "A" team of coaches. Title in year 2
