The doctor's offence was orders of magnitude worse than the physio's (whatever happened to "first do no harm"), so if the doctor got off, the physio certainly shouldn't be banned forever from practising his profession. That would be completely disproportionate and just another display of power and arrogance by the authorities supposedly regulating medical practitioners.

He didn't break any laws, actually; he did bring the profession into disrepute, though. Given however that the doctor who actually CUT Williams' mouth to cover the lie received no penalty whatsoever, I'm glad he got his ban overturned.

The system is a joke. He's a criminal, he knew the laws and he broke them. whats the point of 'banning' someone if your just going to overturn it??
