I agree that O'Gara is a bit full of himself lately, but it cannot be denied that the man is world class at certain moments. Sexton will eventually be better, that cannot be denied as well, but for now he;s young and O'Gara has the experieince which is the biggest key in any sport.

I'm a Leinster fan, and even I can't deny ROG is a world class player. A different breed then the heavier Wilkinsons, Carters and possibly future Sextons, but his accuracy and distance under pressure is only measurable to his ability to see the field in a broad vision.

Sexton will, I have no doubt, will match this, but not yet - he's more concerned about playing the physical number 10 role, break through line runs and quick passes. In the long run this can help, because he can double as a center when needed, where as ROG cannot. Maybe Sexton is a bit too keen to try and follow Carters or (in recent days) Flood's game, and worry more about honing his skillset... But again, how many test caps does he have now? 15, 16? Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Except for the sidestep in the try area and the one missed kick, he played brilliantly. His kicking from hand won Ireland the game.

He can be flakey but when is on his game he can be a very useful kicker but I would agree that he is used more for kicking these days.
