jeez didnt anyone read my second comment? i still rate aplon waay above kirchner......i think taute should have gotten the call up ahead of aplon.....and we all know who should be at 15 but he's injured.......in no way do i endorse the clown that is kirchner at 15

@ulrich so u think JJ engelbreght,wynand olivier and kircher is more deserving? for his size and his ability on the field he's more deserving then any other springbok alive today ... i wonder on what basis u think he's not deserving of a place in the bok squad..dont be silly please

@Melkdave - I agree, Basson great under the high ball on the wing and has a great chase game.
@ FISH - look, Aplon fights way above his fighting weight and in the tight he can be a liability but he will always give 110% but he is deadly when the game is fractured, you saw what Habanna did, Aplon has more pace and can create problems. At best on the bench
I would like to see the following, Lambie at FB, Alberts at 8, Coenie Oosthuizen @ 1 & perhaps Keegan @ 7 (if you have to play him). I think Alberts offers more in terms of driving play at 8.

sensible replacements. aplon is overrated but hes a pretty good player especially to have on the bench can cover wing and fullback but to be honest i think hes pretty dodgy at fullback, easy to put under pressure, doesnt deal with the high ball well, but maybe he has improved he has had a good s15 season

Well as an englishman ,i dont really want the bokkes to improve lol.But i think if they play K.Danial istead of Spies and Lambie instead of Kirchner,and Basson instead of J.P.Pitersen .I feel they could play alot better .Just hope that HM doesent play any of them lol

if you watch aplon on a regular basis the guy does really well. Good under the high ball, rarely misses a tackle and scores pretty regular too. He's not going to set the world alight but he won't let you down either. Not a liability like zane "side show bob" kirchner

Kirchner and Oliver should only be wearing supporter bok jerseys. It is a disgrace they got caps at the weekend. Aplon on the bench gives more cover to the back positions comparred to slow Oliver. He looked too slow when he was on the wing for Habanna. Lambie must surely start on Sat. Bring on sat.

Lambie at full-back, Aplon on the be bench? I'll have me some of that. Not a long term solution though. I'm still hoping someone at the Cheetahs takes in interest in nurturing Willie le Roux at full-back.

Aplon's not a bad guy to come off the bench...he can create something out of nothing. Personally I think he's more deserving than someone like Wyand Olivier.
