There is no possible logistical way argentina can come into super rugby unless they situate the team in one of the 3 existing countries.

I agree with Kawasaki that a pro domestic league and eventually membership in
Super Rugby is the best platform for Argentine Rugby to join the top 5. But thereīs
still widespread resistance to pro rugby down here. Itīll be awhile. Regardless, best
of luck to Los Pumas.

melkdave...but as we all know any of the top 10 teams can beat anyother on their day... Really? as far as the ABs are concerned there are quite a few teams in the top 10 that are still waiting on their day. And although the ABs did struggle with the Pumas in the WC QF for 50 mins the final score was 33-10

Good luck Pumas - give yourselves 10 + years to develop as a Union team that can challenge the best. Building a pro domestic league must be your top priority long term.

Senseable comments from a senseable player, but i have to say i wasnt surprised the pumas nearly won in Mendoza.Everyone should by now know Argentina are one of the top 10 teams in world rugby, and have been for a few years now.Maybe not to4 yest ,but as we all know any of the top 10 teams can beat anyother on their dayJust look at their RWC record from last year, narrow loss to England ,in the groups ,and a narrow loss to NZ in the QFs .Two of the top teams in world rugby. The upcomming match against NZ i for one ,dont expect the ABs to put 40-50 points on the pumas, but IF and itis an IF as sport can always throw an upset the ABs win it will be by 10-15 points .The days of any team putting 40-50 point wining margins on anyother top team i feel are gone, just as the days of 100+ wining margins are gone..
