Waratahs and Wallaby back Israel Folau is close to agreeing terms to stay with the Australian Rugby Union, according to reports.
The Sydney Morning Herald claims that Folau is set to re-sign with the Waratahs for two more seasons under Michael Chieka.
The deal is now awaiting the input of the ARU regarding their portion of his salary.
Folau, who has previously played in the AFL and NRL, was linked with a return to Rugby League following the conclusion of his one-year contract.
After a stunning international debut against the British and Irish Lions, with Folau scoring two tries in the first Test in Brisbane, his future has been the source of plenty of speculation.
The winger will be named in new head coach Ewen McKenzie's Australian squad ahead of The Rugby Championship this week.
