NZ only lost by 17 points, not 21, how did PR get the margin wrong ?

Definitely Hot!

Chris Hala'ufia's ban has been quashed after he appealed. He's free to play immediately.
NOT HOT - the daft Disciplinary System.
Again.

Chris Hala'ufia - there are questions elsewhere in the press about whether his reputation has affected the decisions. He shouldn't have been carded. As others have said, it was a ferocious, but legitimate tackle. The subsequent ban is also daft. I think the decision should be made objectively, and then their history taken into account when the sanction is handed down (clean record = reduced sanction).
Wales to host the England match? Fantastic piece of theatre and a great ruse. Why not have a crack? The response was brilliant too.
@ jonesy2 - YOU certainly don't want those photos going public. Members of your family doing that, in that manner, to that person, with THAT?! Disgraceful!
@ carpelone - the fact that NZ lose so rarely means the effort to remain gracious must have been enormous. We, unfortunately, have a lot more practice than they do.
@ Philly - with one simple and daft post, you have undone all the good work that almost all NZ fans, players and coaches have put in since the defeat. Everyone else is gracious, why not you? Do you share a bunker with BokAvenger and spend your time dreaming up new conspiricy theories?

LindsayG. I don't know if you have actually ever experienced the Novovirus, I have and it is NOT a 24 hour thing. It is more like it knocks you out for a week.I work on a ship and the hygiene is consistently reinforced due to the close proximity of people. The ABs travel, live,eat, train together for weeks on end. and If one gets one of the most contagious viruses then its more than likely the rest will get it..... Does the fact that England have never come previously close to a score like that not say anything? Had the ABs not had the flu then England may have beaten them as they did play a fantastic ga,e but certainly not by the score we saw.......

Apparently English boys defeated New Zealand men, this time.
And next year it will be our turn.
Merry Xmas, mate.

Come on. They lose so rarely that being gracious in defeat under their circumstances is not that big effort. Anyway, well done.
And well done to the English fan, who were gracious in victory. Not all the kiwis are able to manage wins so graciously. Room for improvement here, I am afraid.

admiring the kiwi response to defeat. Hot.
South Africa's new round robin tournament? Hot.
Doing the world cup draw now? Not hot.
Welsh ability to play smart to defend a lead? Not hot.

Talking of venues for RWC games, who actually decides where all the games will be played? I am assuming it is the iRB's call. Wales are not hosting the 2015 RWC so they are not supposed to get any home games. Simple really.

AT NO POINT DID HALA'UFIA SPEAR TACKLE SEB!!!
The refs, need to be in the NOT section this week!!!
That tackle was below the shoulder, and he used his arms!!! WHAT A JOKE RED CARD!!!
IT was the momentum that made it look like Seb got speared, but he fell straight on his back!!!
Yes and Chris really showed his MALICE, didn't he!?? When he when and shook Sebs hand!! Eeven Sebs team mates knew it was the wrong Call!!!
Its called RUGBY!!! NOT SOFTBY!!!

@ Carpelone - yes on both posts!! Jane's offside was pretty marginal too. Never mind, it was a great game and from an AB supporter, losing is hard but it was still a great game.

@lawynd
Plus he penalised England in the maul for nothing and gave them a yellow card for an infringement without warning and on the halfway line. But you are right, despite these awful errors that from most refs would be an unacceptable performance, by his standards it was one of his better days.
@Waz4before
Agrees.
I also echo the sentiments about the Hala'ufia. Was a great tackle and shouldn't have received a red card, let alone a ban. Stupid of them to get it wrong live, but beyond absurd to get it wrong with video evidence. Someone should cite the citing commissioner!

Chubbylugs says...
The problem with the Hala'ufia tackle was the obsession with the tip tackle. The tackle wasn't bad, because the player wasn't dropped, in fact his body and neck were parallel with the ground. He seemed to be sent off purely because the legs were higher than the rest of his body, a consequence of the hit, not a lifting action.
I thought it was highly commendable that Hala'ufia went to shake his hand after the card was issued. Not something you often see

@LindsayG I agree! great idea. As a Saffa I support the idea of NZ Sportsmanship being in the HOT column. Absolutely best in class response to defeat...real rugby gentlemen..."We were beaten by a better team on the day" World beater on the field and off it.

Cold. Kapa O Pango. Should be the first defeat for New Zealand when they perform the Kapa O Pango. But I may be wrong. Asking our Kiwi friends some help.

@ Aikos -hmm, revolutionary idea. I'm more conservative than that, lets go the traditional route which says the host nation should actually host their games. So that would be Twickenham with the Welsh cling-ons picking up other games. I know it's boring but if we continue down this route we'll have France and Ireland squabbling over Paris and Dublin next ...
