Court signs for London Irish

Irish move Tom Court

London Irish have announced the signing of Ireland and British and Irish Lions loosehead prop Tom Court from Ulster for the 2014/15 season.

The 33-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Aviva Premiership side.

Court has played 143 times for Ulster, scoring 10 tries.

"Tom is a terrific signing for the club as we look to add steel to the pack," said director of rugby Brian Smith.

Court added: "I have enjoyed eight fantastic seasons at Ulster and will leave the club with many happy memories.

"London Irish is a new challenge and one I am looking forward to. There is still a lot of work to do for the remainder of this season at Ulster and that will be my immediate focus."
