Ospreys

Preview: Ospreys v Toulouse

14th December 2012 11:20

Thierry Dusautoir Toulouse 2012

Returning leader: Thierry Dusautoir

Kahn Fotuali'i will lead the Ospreys against Toulouse in their Heineken Cup rematch at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Richard Hibbard and Ryan Bevington return to the front row, with Samoa international George Stowers named as a replacement.

The Ospreys hopes of a place in the last eight of the Heineken Cup are hanging by a thread and only a bonus point victory over the most successful side in the tournament will keep those ambitions alive.

Meanwhile, Thierry Dusautoir returns to lead Toulouse for their rematch with the Ospreys on Saturday, replacing Yannick Nyanga at openside flanker.

The French champions continued their impressive record over the Ospreys last weekend with a 30-14 win, stretching their unbeaten run against the Welsh region to three matches.

With Luke McAlister ruled out for a month earlier this week, Jean-Marc Doussain fills in at fly-half alongside Luke Burgess. Maxime Médard starts at full-back, with Yoann Huget moving to the left wing.

19-year-old sensation Gael Fickou also starts, in place of the injured Florian Fritz, whilst in the pack Roman MIllo-Chluski and Vasil Kakovin are also selected.

Strong Ospreys team, but is it strong enough.

Of course I want to win, but good rugby for both teams to set the crowd alight, on this cold wet day in Swansea is what we the bench.

I bet one set of fans will be moaning about Clancy after the game, let's hope it's Toulouse!

Up for it!

If Doussain goes down in the first tackle, who plays 10? who kicks the goals? Jauzion? (I wonder if Elissalde should be travelling with his kit-bag like Servat has done lately....)

ALLEZ!!
