Dragons fly-half Steffan Jones and prop Aaron Coundley have signed contract extensions at the region.
Blackwood-born Coundley has come through the Dragons age groups, from U16s all the way to the U20s as well as the Dragons Academy.
He started at his home team of Blackwood but his talent was soon recognised after being picked up by Welsh Premiership sides Ebbw Vale and Cross Keys. In 2008 the Dragons offered him a full development contract and he made his debut against Glasgow Warriors that same year.
The prop has also shone on the international age group circuit being involved with both the U16s and U20s Wales squads, representing Wales at the U20 World Championships in Japan in 2009.
Jones, who was also brought up through the Dragons development ranks, was initially brought in on a dual contract with Cross Keys and the Dragons but impressed during the 2010/2011 Premiership season.
That season he made 24 starts and one substitute appearance for the Keys and scored over 300 points, narrowly being pipped into second place for the accolade of top point's scorer in the Principality Premiership that season.
Already being established as a Premiership regular, this form earned him a full contract with the region for the 2011/2012 season.
This season Jones became the region's top points-scorer in one match, whilst playing against London Welsh in the LV= Cup.
"I am delighted that they have both signed for another two years with the Dragons. I look forward to seeing both Steffan and Aaron developing further with us," director of rugby Rob Beale told the Dragons website.
