CJ Stander: Out for rest of the year
Munster have called up James Coughlan in place of the injured CJ Stander for the back-to-back Heineken Cup clashes with Saracens.
After only two appearances into his Munster career, Stander has been sidelined after breaking a bone in his right hand during Saturday's win over Glasgow Warriors.
It is a huge blow for the 22-year-old South African flanker who will be out until January as the club prepare for their key two battles with Sarries, for which Munster are current favourites in the Paddy Power rugby betting markets.
Number eight Coughlan has been added to the province's squad as permitted under competition rules after recovering from a groin injury picked up earlier in the season.
Niall Ronan is also available for Rob Penney's side having overcome a head injury suffered in the defeat to Scarlets.
Tommy O'Donnell is the one other player from last weekend's encounter with Glasgow considered a doubt for the first Saracens showdown on Saturday after missing training in Limerick on Tuesday.
O'Donnell was in impressive form last weekend, thrilling rugby betting fans by setting up the first try and scoring the second, before an ankle injury forced him to retire soon after the interval.

Lousy luck. He looked great against Glasgow. Munster will need every break they can get to beat this Saracens team.

He's one of the best, I didn't know he had moved to Munster, I'm gobsmacked that the SA franchises let him slip through their fingers.

he is awesome, still can't believe the bulls played him off the bench, especially letting him go. The guy is strong like an ox.
