Edinburgh loose forward David Denton has been ruled out of Sunday's Heineken Cup clash with Saracens at Vicarage Road.
His failure to recover from a knee injury sustained in last weekend's match against Munster was confirmed at a fitness test at Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday morning, and he has subsequently been replaced by lock Perry Parker on the bench.
Denton will not travel with the team to London this weekend. He will join the Scotland squad in Glasgow on Monday for further assessment.
