@zambokke True, finals usually tighten up compared to the regular season, an i would agree that Sharks have all the momentum and look better on paper. however there are two key areas that i believe will help the Chiefs edge out the victory;
1) While the Chiefs tight five may occasionally struggle midfield, you cannot respute that their packs ability to score tries when they have possession in their opponents 22 has been unrivaled this year. 9 tries for taumalolo this season is proof.
2) The Chiefs half-back combination has been in top form all season, and is leagues ahead of the Sharks. Sure Michalak always carries that magic onto the field, but Kerr-Balow/Cruden combo has them beat, and that link to the backs should be enough to keep the Chiefs ahead all game.
By no means do i expect a blowout, i predict a close game for the full 80. But, i see the Chiefs scoring early, either through a quick try, or Cruden's boot, and hold that lead for the rest of the game.
Chiefs by 4!

Cheifs have the upper hand in the backs and an exciting back row, but will they get go-forward versus the Shark's pack? Cup final rugby often relies on a tight game and forward dominance. Just hope that Michelak is on form and doesn't kick the ball away. Really looking forward to it. The last 10 minutes will be awesome if it is still a tight game - I guess that the Chiefs will have to throw the ball around and look for tired forwards. Hoping for a great game and a SA victory. I guess that with the Aussies doing badly this year that they will have more time than NZ and SA to prepare for the Championship? Will the Aussies be supporting the Cheifs?

Having Deysel on the bench is a luxury. He had a fantastic impact last Sat. The Chiefs must be very strong to win. Bring on the game.
