@hellovanite....No ways will the Chiefs win by 15.....the Sharks are a very good side and brimming with confidence. The Chiefs are a very good side too and as much as I would like to see them win this at home as a NZ rugby fan, I have a sneaky feeling the boys from KZN are gonna walk away with the prize.

@All.......my very opinionated opinion on the outcome of this match affecting the All Blacks is quite frankly nonsense...this is provincial/state rugby and although it may look fierce and highly competitive, it simply is not international rugby!! International rugby has its own unique physicality, tactics and pressures way above this level. Why do you think guys who perform brilliantly at S15 level week in week out can't achieve the same brilliance at international level?

Passtheball... don't be an idiot, the Chiefs have SBW and Retallick not to mention Cruden who is currently playing better at 10 than anyone else, Carter included. Don't get me wrong I would currently still start Carter in an AB team, but only over Cruden on big game experience and reputation. I don't care what anyone say's about SBW, he is the current incumbent 12. Not to mention the likes of Hika Elliot, Liam Messam, Sam Cane and the up and coming Tawera Kerr-Barlow and Ben Tameifuna. So get real there are at least 2 AB Starters and potentially more in the Chiefs. Also....... GO YOU CHIEFS! you little beauty

Prediction: Chiefs by 15

My head (and heart) says the Chiefs, but really I wont be disappointed who wins. Both have great teams.

A Sharks win would not affect the AB's as currently there are no starting AB's in the Chiefs. This makes the Chief's final appearance even more meritorious. It might boost the Boks a bit but that's about it.

@ all of you Boks

I am not underestimating the Sharks and I hope that the Chiefs are not either. I just don't think that even if the Sharks win, it will devastate anyone in NZ...

The only time I cheer against a SA side is when they play NA whether at country or club level...

Hoping for a great final and a Chiefs win but if the Natal lads bag the silverware, rest assured that I will be here to congratulate you all!

Anyone writing off the Sharks should think twice. Most people predicted that they would be wiped out by the Reds and that travel would be their downfall in Cape Town and they are still going. Yes they are the underdog and they have a huge travel issue to deal with and yes they are playing a great team, but rugby is a strange game and any team can win on the day. These two teams have taken out all the big guys and will be giving it all they have in the final. They are both hungry it is just a matter of who is more hungry on the day. On paper these guys should have been eliminated a while back, but heart is #1 in rugby.

The SHARKS have played really well this season.... there have always been quality players in the SHARKS squad. They also play an exciting style of rugby..... on the other side the CHIEFS are a much better team this year than they have ever been.... not many people gave them a chance of winning against the CRUSADERS.... BUT the CHIEFS proved many people wrong!

@ Kiwikev - shame about the long white cloud 'above your country'. Is that why you all move to Australia i.e. to get some rays!? Only joking, we know that the Kiwis have the best record, but I have to agree with Nefari, it would be a good psychological boost for the Boks if the Sharks could win.

An unlikely Sharks win (Chiefs are favs) wouldn't so much psych out the All Blacks as build self-belief for the Boks. It'll be good for SA. You won't see the All Blacks being any less confident of victory at home. The Bok Sharks though will go there knowing they can beat them and that self-belief is always a massive part of sport.

still reckon chiefs will pull it off though. Their defence is brilliant. their rucking is incredibly physical and a weapon in itself. Then comes the turn overs and the tries. The Sharks off loading game holds the key. if the ball goes to hand they've got a shot. if they drop a few then look out! Looking forward to it as a neutral. I'll be cheering for the underdog, but if the chiefs win I'll cheer them when they lift the trophy and have massive respect for their brilliant performance all season long.

@kev

Sure the all blacks will always be favourites in new zealand and most of the times even away, but I think the all blacks when they play the boks with a predominant sharks pack they will have it in their minds what the sharks pulled off if they win and also the boks will rub off on the sharks self belief having done what seems impossible... But it still seems quite impossible

@ nefariOUS

Major psychological blow - really? Take a look at which country has won the most Super Rubgy and Tri-Nations silverware. I will provide you with a clue - there is Long White Cloud above this country.

Have you been associating with 3Nuts?

Make us proud sharks, your victory over the stormers was just the thing to unite south africans for the championships, now just to follow through on what would be a major psychological blow on the new zealanders. GO SHARKS!
