@APV1...when the Sharks beat the Reds, all the pints are on me...enough Badger Golden Glory to float Trinats' boat

Q: What do you say to an employed Saffa in the UK?

A: I'd like a pint please!

;-)

.... and it's a fair cop on my getting the number of points wrong.

By way of mitigation - and no it's not an excuse - I had simply run out of stamina by the time I had looked that far down the ladder.

@hybrid187 - a good team wins at home, a great team wins anywhere, if the Sharks are better which you say they are because they finished ahead on points then they should be able to win at Suncorp.

Sounds like excuses are already in the making.

new_j4a - that would also apply to Kurtley on the 24th

Reds have had good wins without Cooper, this has been more of a distraction than anything, expect they will be too good for the visitors from SA

You all need to stop your whining, Reds had more wins than bulls and sharks. Were up 17 points against sharks till they had iaone sent off and 2 injuries to fly-halves. are a much better team than the sharks. Cry all you want, just enjoy the game.

Q: What do you call a Queenslander dressed in a suit and tie?

A: The defendant.

Agreed startledwombat. The media here in Aus is all hung up on Coopers suspension and the integrity of the match officials (TMOs) and the appointment of Kaplan for Saturdays game.

In reality the Reds have got it lucky... how a team that finishes 6th (even after having the luxury of playing in a bs conference) and gets a home final is contrary to common sense. The bigger picture needs to be looked into, the integrity of SuperRugby as a whole.

Reds will win this weekend because of a technicality... they get to play at Suncorp.

startledwombat:

Which Aussie team finished on 56 points ? Reds and Brumbies finished on 58 !

startledwombat says...

Given that the QRU is bent on seeking clarification, maybe they could at the same time also seek to redress the matter by which a mere 56 points gets a certain Australian Conference team into a home game in the finals series.

This Cooper rubbish is trivial by comparison, except for Berrick Barnes, who will probably fight the effects of concussion later in life.
