@jonesy I'm seriously still confused on whether you a are kiwi or an aussie. But one thing i know for sure is you have a hate for saffa teams.

SA, the weakest conference? mate what are you smoking? they have three teams in the finals.

As a huge Chiefs one eyed supporter, even I think that SBW's tackle was high.

Why is it an abomination the Bulls are in the Playoffs? Im sure you meant to say that the Reds having a home playoff against the Sharks is an abomination.

Oh yeah, You delusional schmuck, stop embarrassing your countrymen (whether it be Aussies or Kiwis) and give the saffa teams some credit...or "stop posting one here seriously" :)

@jonesy2, I arithmetic your strong point? Clearly English isn't. And your understanding of rugby in general and high tackles in particular is abysmal.

I always "post on here seriously." Are you looking for something more frivolous? Try the Sunday commics?

Three Saffa teams in the 6.....only one from the weak conference....what on earth IS your IQ?

jonesy2 says...

oh and that was a penalty not a yellow card and those talking about sonny bills legal tackle being illegal you simply dont know what you are talking about and shouldnt be watching rugby

1- south africa are the weakest conference by so much its actually embarrassing for the rest of us and bringing down the standard of super rugby just look at the springboks, draw to england, way to go.

2- if you think the sharks are going to get close to winning in brisbane with or without QC you are off your nut the fact that them and the bulls made the playoffs is an abomination

3- i genuinely feel sorry for you if you dont appreciate the brilliant of QC

4- never seen him "folded in half" although you seem to say that every week and to be honest im not even sure what the hell you are talking about

5- stop posting on here seriously

Trinats2 - the same Bryce Lawrence who refereed the final last year?

Who won that one?

Posted 02:47 16th July 2012

Trinats2 says...

Oh and extremely lucky that Ioane only got 5 weeks, for a tackle we see every week from Saffas and Kiwis !!!!.

Posted 23:35 15th July 2012

Trinats2 says...

Ironic isn't it, that the weak Aussie conf ARE current S15 Champions and could also win it again this year !!! Lucky they beat all the TOP teams last year to win it and with their horrific run of injuries still manage to get into the finals by winning their last 6 games (one of those was beating top of table Chiefs) very very lucky !!!!!

I hope he doesn't get suspended for the sake of us who will have to endure conspiracy theories by Reds fans...So Please GOD if you are here, let Cooper play...and if they win, they deserve it with him at 10..

daibok says...

Trinats - are you related to BokvanDam?

Seriously, I didnt think the tackle was thar bad. Yellow should have been sufficient,.

Posted 16:18 15th July 2012

hybrid187 says...

actually Trinats, officials will try everything to make sure the Reds win.

Heard of the conference system ?

new_j4a says...

Don't ban Cooper! The Sharks need all the help they can get after traveling to prop up the weak Oz conference.....and half the reason I watch the Reds is to see Cooper finally get folded in half and stretchered off....there'll be Mexican waves around the world when he finally does get his comeuppance...I think Bismarck may be the lad to do it...legally.

hobo says...

doesnt deserve a suspension but will probably get a week.

As for Barnes how many more concussions will be enought??? He has to be considering retirement now, it just isnt worth it anymore when knocks like that put you in gaga land.

Kiwi Judicial Officer Nicholas Davidson will give Cooperman just enough weeks to miss next 3 weeks Super rugby and a couple of internationals (V NZ) Cooper back 26 Sep.

tweedledee49 says...

shouldnt get anything more, i believe the yellow card was enough. I was suprised he made the tackle though. And yes agree with others about SBW, how the hell was that missed.

@Bigb6969, agreed about Faingaa, he is beginning to ome off as the guy who throws in cheap shots whenever he can. Anybody else see his shoulder onto Polota Naus head while TPN was on the ground. It may have been accidental but he's always given cheap shots to people on the ground so i wouldnt be surprised if it was intentional.

hayj05 says...

Lol how about you guys watch those two tackles again, Cooper makes contant around Barnes neck & then continues to put pressure on it as drvies him into the ground while trying to lift his legs. SBW is more around the shoulder/neck from behind & it was more a case of hanging on or he would make a break. Both are dangerous tackles but Coopers clearly showed more ill intent. Don't worry though.... I'm sure he won't get a ban

2EyedKiwi says...

Quade Cooper cited for a tackle? Impressive for someone who has yet to be sited making one....

Posted 06:28 15th July 2012

tha_mai says...

no mention of Sharks' Steyn: 18min Francois Steyn gets his marching orders for a spear-tackle on Robert Ebersohn.

Not cited?

One way to get the No 10 spot for the Wannabies I suppose.

Posted 00:28 15th July 2012

Trinats2 says...

Officals will try everything to stop the Reds !!! Even with Bryce lawrence playing for the other team, it will not stop the S15 Champions retaining their title.
