TheTruthHurts - half right - but he is not counted as an overseas player, as per his club rugby contract, via the grandmother clause he is counted as a local.

hellovanite - not pilfering, there's no mention of him being in contention for the Wallabies - he now lives in Sydney, plays his rugby there; NZ news said he moved to Sydney on uncle John Hart's recommendation as he couldn't get a contract in NZ and qualified there as a local player.
He is also eligible for Scotland through his other grandmother.
Good luck to him - maybe if he does well enough he could get a NZ Super contract one day.
