@bokavenger, crusaders just owned the Bulls without cheating...or maybe the Bulls were just following orders from Sanzar to throw the game? Lmao

Are you really that childishly ignorant that you would embarrass yourself by writing something like that?

Are you taking anything for that?

McCheat is the IRB's own anointed Son. The veritable love child of Colin Meads and Mother Theresa. Bulls have no chance against a team from the nation of the IRB's Chosen People.

As a POM, I sincerely hope not. What a repellent, venomous creature. In all conscience - he would be out of place in any country.

@olepete and others "Perhaps it's ok in SA?" ArmchairGeneral is NOT a Saffa....smells like a POM to me. @APV1, Is the sanctimonious prat one of yours?

@ArmchairGeneral
Consider: Potential tryscorer receives an obvious forward pass [he knows it] but the ref misses it. Should he stop play,"Walk" in cricket parpance, or cheat?.
What an unpleasant, sad, bitter person you are.

ArmchairGeneral - in NZ sporting culture to find a way of getting away with cheating is considered fair play and is praised as true winning instinct.
where ever did you get that from? plenty of world champions, gold medallists etc to choose from i I have yet to hear of one of them being labelled 'cheat'. I competed at national level in NZ and Australia for many years and any 'cheat' as you say would quickly be exiled from the sports fraternity in either country rather than praised.

It's only cheating if the player is not playing for your team. McCaw is arguably the best openside flanker that the game of union has seen. To continually call him a cheat must really be the ultimate compliment.
His detractors should firstly check the laws and then watch him closely... because the vast majority of the time he is pretty close to being right.

@ArmchairGeneral, wherever did you find the evidence for that idiotic comment - about any country for that matter? Perhaps it's ok in SA?

Compromise: every ref overlooks certain forms of cheating. In different ways. So many rules some get overlooked. McCaw is the most expert at finding a refs blind spots. in NZ sporting culture to find a way of getting away with cheating is considered fair play and is praised as true winning instinct. It is even considered not cheating but good play if one gets away with it. Each to their own.

A poster going by the name of geogresmith is calling McCaw a cheat..... LOL.
Your idol was a very similar player to McCaw in the fact that he was very good at adapting to each individual ref's interpretations of the breakdown. If you're going to call McCaw a cheat, you might as well call every world class openside of the professional era one too.

Nice interview by R.McCaw. But can you pliz not cheat the Bulls at the breakdown. We want a clean contest. Referee needs to be alert full 80minutes.
