The Chiefs have been handed a boost in that back-row forward Ross Filipo's knee injury will not rule him out for the remainder of the Super Rugby season.
2012's Super Rugby champions, who last week beat the Kings in Port Elizabeth with a 35-24 win, have arrived home from their South Africa tour.
And coach Dave Rennie had some relative good injury news regarding the severity of Filipo's injury.
"Not quite as bad so no - ACL's alright, so it's an MCL so he'll be out for a while but not season-ending," he told Newstalk ZB on Tuesday.
