Winging it: Jürgen Visser

Utility back Jürgen Visser will start on the wing for the Bulls in their Super Rugby clash against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday.

Visser, whose Super Rugby debut came off the bench last weekend in the win against the Blues, replaces Lionel Mapoe on the left wing. Mapoe picked up a shoulder injury in that match.

The rest of the side remains unchanged, but Visser's spot on the bench will be taken by Jan Serfontein.

"We got the momentum we wanted on tour with the good win against the Blues," said coach Frans Ludeke.

"By naming the same side bar the injury, we hope to continue the way we finished against the Blues. We will need a good performance against a very good side."

Captain Pierre Spies was happy that they are on the front foot.

"We started the tour we wanted and now need to make it work for us," he said.

"We came close here in the past and now must try and get that rare win in Christchurch."

Vermaak cost the Bulls last week, he is predictable and his box kicks are hopeless. Hougaaard should be first choice 9 --with confidence and game time his passing will improve and he could be a standout. Sefontein should start --he is ready as he showed last week and Olivier and Engelbrecht will struggle against the Saders

@Nefari, yes Hougaard need to up his game as scrummie but Vermaak losing the ball for what seemed to be a certain try (and bonus point) last Sunday may haunt the Bulls. Hougaard is probably on the bench as scumhalf and wing since Fouche' and Serfontein have never played wing.

Hougaard on the bench as a scrummie... gosh the bulls management staff should stop being pushed around by this guy, I like him but he needs lift his game at 9, Play him at wing, if he doesn't like it he can go to the stormers or sharks.
