@Wallaroo I appreciate what you say and thank goodness I will never be a Waratahs aka Flower Girls supporter as it allows me to have a dig at them. I though would expect nothing other from you as to your support as you post good comments on here which challenge our thinking. Please know that though you are a Waratahs supporter I still respect you and I bet you are not one of those fickle ones who go to the games and boo their team when they lose. A true supporter supports his team even when people like me are dining out maniacally grinning as I write more poisonous posts about your team. Keep it up Wallaroo we appreciate your efforts and one day after I have left this earth you may have your moment in the sun lol.

@wallaroo, well, mate we all respect you for that mate...and also because your one of the few sane posters here. Have a good week and congrats on your aussie neighbours beating my beloved Chiefs!

Wallaroo says...

@tweedledee49 fair enough, I get it. I was also annoyed by his behaviour.

I am an extremely proud Aussie (ex-serviceman, have fought for Australia and will still give my life for it) so I hate it when any of my countrymen or those that represent anything I support do something to soil our reputation.

@Ramage that statement hurts but I know it's fair. I have no idea why we continue to play way below our capacity. IMHO Foley is not lead coaching material, he's a good guy but finds excuses rather than reasons. You know as well as I do that the best way to improve is to, acknowledge your failures and seek ways to turn these around while at the same time do whats needed to maintain and capitalise on your strengths.

@wallaroo, yeah i know it was legit. Im talking about how he chucked the ball at the Bulls (have no idea who it was) player's head. Don't take it the wrong way, I enjoy watching players celebrate after they score but when they do idiotic things after they score to the other team then it gets annoying. Hell, even Kearnsy thought it was stupid.

But like I said the Tahs really deserved to win that game.

Wallaroo says...

@tweedledee49 How did Pakalani's try change your mind, it was perfectly legit?

@noord_transvaal LOL, jonesy is not an Aussie he's gutless. Quick to blow his trumpet when he's right e.g. Bloos but too gutless to acknowledge when he is wrong.

Based on this it is very unlikely he has ever played rugby, 99% of rugby players are gentlemen and have the decency of congratulating and acknowledging where applicable.

Anyway I'm still hurting from this game, so much hope and then so much disappointment.

Amazing! The Waratahs (aka Flower Girls) have a way of grabbing defeat, from the arms of victory and embracing it. However we shouldn't br surprised at least they are consitent.

What a god awful game to watch, the posers do it again, there they were reading the headlines about how good they were, went to sleep, 2 or 3 stupid mistakes and well same old same old for the posers. Wallaroo I am not sure what Rocky you were watching but didn't you see him wave Hougaard through for the Bulls first try. Well they have done their bit for handing the Red's second spot as long they can hang onto 9th or 10th spot. What a ridiculous conference system as a very good team will finish 5th and miss out. Trinats "the Bulls look beatable" like 8-61 beatable I presume.

trappa says...

honestly...the sooner the horratahs pack up and relocate to the northern hemisphere where their style of play will be appreciated the better. Mindless, ineffective pick-n-goes, kick at first option, inability to make the advantage line, bumbling, dumb, conservative....They appear to lack soul, certainly lack enterprise and each week lack more and more supporters

JayStarr says...

I still can't believe the Bulls won this game... The Waratahs should kick themselves - they didn't even play that well, but two or three stupid errors is the only reason they lost that game.

Looks like I'll just have to wait until next week then for the Stormers to go past the Bulls again...

Allianz Stadium renamed to Heartbreak field.

Trinats, the team and Foley lost us the game. Pretorius was doing a good job getting the ball wide. Why he decided to bring on McKibbin for last 20, too early, goodness only knows. McKibbin is good he just doesn't have the X factor Pretorius has, we needed width at the end to keep the ball in play. Another sub that I didn't get was Elsom (albeit it is his first game back in the starting line-up), Rocky was doing a great job in both attack and defence.

Anyway well done "Pink Parade".

sorry my mistake, Brumbies are of course top of the Australian conference.

meneer says...

and the Bulls are not playing at their best YET, lost all their backroom staff & senior players - very impressed with this young team getting the job done. Waratahs top of the Australian conference (not really worth much I suppose) and with Elsom back, a really good win on tour. Looking good to make the play-offs, perhaps with a home advantage - but a long way to go and anything can happen in super rugby.

spliffed says...

Waratahs shot themselves in the foot with the ridiculous decision right at the end with the srcum on their 5 meter line.. Awful decision by I assume the captain? Why not just pass the ball to the flyhalf and boot it out?

SACanuck says...

Wow, and I thought the Bulls were only lucky at Loftus. Hope Hougaard got man of the match, becasue he won it for the Bulls.(again)

Carpelone says...

I got both games wrong. I did expect a close defeat for the Lions and a defeat for the Bulls. Somehow, their style of play is still unconvincing.

Bad luck for the 'Tahs, but I do not complain.

tweedledee49 says...

It wasn't until Pakalani scored that try that I hoped the Bulls would win, probably came back to bite him in the end huh?

anywho, i think the Tahs deserved to win this game.

Posted 13:15 11th May 2012

Trinats2 says...

Well Wally mumm cost you the game. Bulls 7 points after he went for 10.

Tahs offered nothing in attack and too many errors, both in decision making and defence (although one try was when Palu was out cold on the deck and the other when Mumm was off in sinbin). Geez, hope Bulls make the finals, they look very beatable, Rebels close last week and injury hit Tahs close this week.
