Saracens have announced that they will play Ulster in the Heineken Cup quarter-final at Twickenham in April.
The match will take place at 18:30 local time on Saturday, April 6 after consultation with local residents and partners saw a plan to possibly expand their new home Allianz Park declined.
"We look forward to playing this important match at the home of English rugby, a ground that many of our players know extremely well. It is absolutely clear that people want to see big teams playing big matches at big stadiums, and that is precisely what we will deliver at Twickenham," said club chairman Nigel Wray in an official statement.
"We did consider the option of playing this showpiece match at Allianz Park, our brand new home stadium in NW4, but, in consultation with local residents and our partners at the London Borough of Barnet, we have decided to settle at the new venue before applying to stage a one-off event with a larger capacity."

Norm - Quins aren't worried son, we just want to play at home - Saffacens just want the money so they can buy more SA mercenaries.

Played into Ulsters hands as they will outnumber and out sing the Sarries (I hope Sarries don't get to hold the remote for the music as they may resort to trying to drown out the oppositon electronically!) Should be a good game.

Stag - They do have a home to play it now, it's just too small to comply with ERC rules.

Home QF, with no home to play at. Unfair that they had to move it in my most humble opinion

Snoracens may have to play some rugby because Ulster are more than capable of playing a wide running game and the Twickenham pitch will suit them fine.
Actually we fans are the winners, it should be a decent match!

Brilliant new as I can get a ticket a bit easier, however it says something that unlike Harlequins they are not worried at the Irish visiting!
