Mark Cueto Sale v Wasps

New contract: Mark Cueto

Sale Sharks have announced that wing duo Mark Cueto and Tom Brady have put pen to paper on contract extensions with the Premiership club.

Cueto, who is Sale's longest serving player and made his debut in 2001, has signed a one-year deal extension. He is currently the Premiership's leading try-scorer of all time with 84 tries.

"I am delighted to sign a new deal. I am really enjoying my rugby at the club and am looking forward to adding to my try tally. Dimes (Steve Diamond) has assembled a great squad of players and I want to play my part to help the club do well," Cueto told the club's official website.

Brady meanwhile, who made his debut in the 2010/11 season, has signed a new two-year deal, with Cueto believing the youngster can push on and one day overtake his own scoring record.

"I'm delighted to have signed the new deal," said Brady.

"Sale are a club I have grown up supporting, they are my local team and it's something I've always wanted to be a part of. It's a great environment to be in so I'm delighted that I have been able to commit to the club for the next two years."

Director of Rugby Steve Diamond added: "I am delighted both Mark and Tom have agreed new deals. Mark can play centre, wing or full-back and is enjoying a new lease of life.

"He continues to score tries and is a player the younger lads look up to and go to for advice. Tom is a local lad and playing the best rugby of his career now and I am sure he will represent the club for many years to come."
