Newcastle Falcons pair Gonzalo Tiesi and Matt Thompson have signed new two and one-year contracts respectively with the club.
Argentine international centre Tiesi has committed to a further two years at Kingston Park, after joining the Premiership side late in 2013. 31-year-old club stalwart Thompson has also joined the midfielder and Scottish second-row Scott MacLeod, whose signature was announced earlier on Tuesday, in signing on for another year.
"Newcastle Falcons is a big club and I have been impressed with (Director of Rugby) Dean Richards' vision for the future," said Tiesi.
"The Premiership is the most competitive league in Europe. Newcastle and the North East in general is a great place to live - the whole region is passionate about sport and I'm excited at the challenges that lie ahead for the club."
Hooker Thompson, who is now into his testimonial year with the club he joined as a junior, has risen through the ranks at Kingston Park.
"Newcastle Falcons is a club that is very much close to my heart, and I didn't have to think twice about re-signing," said the Newcastle-born front-rower.
"There is a fantastic blend of both youth and experience in the squad at the moment, and that bodes well for the future as the club looks to move to the next level.
"There is a great atmosphere in the dressing room at present and I can't wait to get back out onto the field."
