Well honestly an average player at best, what I'm interested to notice is the talent coming through newcastle...Dickson, Dowson (spring to mind) and a few other excellent players have come through their academy in recent years...shame they can't hold on to them or they'd be playing at the other end of the table...

I think Stringer should not be ignored by Ireland any longer. His intelligent box kicks would work perfectly with the beastly backrow of Ferris, Heaslip, and O Brien.
