I have no issue putting on weight - pizza, red wine and sitting on my ar$e does that easily. Follow me, young man, and I'll lead you to the Promised land!

Aaron Cruden is a stupid argument. He is naturally strong and doesn't look like a little kid, aka Ford

Jeeze guys, some of the comments on here by liam2me and kid_diablo are just childish and ignorant. No need to go any further and demonstrate how stupid those comments are so I'll move on.
It is a good idea to get George Ford a bit heavier and stronger as a result. He is quite a small chap. This will help him in the modern game. It doesn't deem him unselectable though. Aaron Cruden has been mentioned and he too has been told to gain some weight so if you are comparing players, the same applies to both. It was the same for Shane Williams and what did he lose in pace? Bit of a non story really.

This guy is a fantastic talent, which doesn't come along all that often with ENglish backs......and then I read this article, and worry he'll be another talent lost to the attritional premiership, having to bulk up. He has taken the fly half spot at Leicester on solid performances; what more can you ask of that at a young age? I hope that England's equivalent of the brilliant Aaron Cruden doesn't have that development in skill and talent hindered!

He is very skinny at the moment. There is no problem in asking him to bulk up. He will get a lot more injuries if he doesn't.
90kg is pushing it a bit though.

yeah put on more bulk so you can be as slow and tiresome as the rest of the premiership

Very interesting....he is small for a flyhalf and is size wise perhaps more suited to the 9 position but putting on that level of muscle will put a lot of strain on his tendons and ligaments and will also make it harder for him to retain his acceleration and agility

The English are obsessed with size, usually at the cost of skill
