Gloucester hooker Darren Dawidiuk has been handed a six-week suspension for a tip-tackle on Bath lock Dave Attwood.
Dawidiuk was sent off for committing a dangerous tackle during Gloucester's 31-25 defeat at The Rec on 1 March and will now miss five of Gloucester's six remaining regular-season fixtures.
The 25-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charge but his arguments fell on deaf ears and he will now only be available again on April 22 - in time for Gloucester's final Premiership clash at Exeter Chiefs on May 4.
Lock Lua Lokotui pleaded not guilty to the same charge, of a tip tackle on former Cherry and Whites lock Attwood, and he was found not guilty.
The 33-year-old Tongan's charge was dismissed, and he is free to play in Gloucester's next match, against London Welsh at Kingsholm on Saturday, March 23.
