Good luck Gloucester, Davies has achieved nothing so far in his coaching career. He has claimed plaudits for developing youth, in fact it is not his job to find or indeed develop the players, that credit lies with people such as Gippo and Brad harrington?

He lacks the experience and inspiration to take teams to the next level and often falls short. On paper Scarlets are a better team than Gloucester, he failed with Scarlet players whilst coaches like Gatland brought the best out of them?

Good luck - You are going to need it?

Things were looking glum enough with loosing players at the end of the season and now our coach goes n does us over as well. Well I just hope Simon E is as good a coach as he was a player.

Well a fantastic signing for Glocester,as Davies is a fantastic coach who really develops young talant..The Glocester backline for next season was mouthwatering ,with Burns-12Tress-May--Trinder -JSD ect and can only get better now imo. Also the ariival of Morgon and Cowen .and a few others means the forwards havent been forgotten either. The future really looks good for the cherry&whites

Great signing for the cherry and whites, Still think they need to bring in cover for Nick Wood and a couple of backrowers.

Great signing. I love the way the Scarlets play, he could work wonders with the young Gloucester back line.

Good news for Gloucester but bad news for The Scarlets and Wales. But I suppose with budgets in Wales running at nearly 1.4million less than the Aviva Premiership there comes a point when enough is enough. Losing players to other clubs is one thing but losing coaches like Davies who has brought on the youth at Scarlets is another. As long as Wales continue to develope there youth as they have done over the last years they will continue to hold there heads up on the International stage, but they can ill afford to lose people of Davies' calibre. Lets hope they have someone waiting in the wings to continue the good work.
