Stade Franšais were forced to come from ten points down to defeat Leeds Carnegie 22-13 in the Amlin Challenge Cup on Sunday.
A second-half try from Guillaume Bousses broke home hearts.
The Aviva Premiership side fell short as kicking mistakes cost them - with Luther Burrell, Warren Fury and Ceiron Thomas all failing to convert.
The hosts began brightly, and were rewarded on the quarter-hour mark when Juan Gomez finally turned pressure into a bustling score wide out.
Benjamin Tardy was then sin-binned for killing the ball, and Leeds seized the opportunity to double their lead as Hendre Fourie touched down.
Martin Rodriguez kept the French side in touch with three penalties, and the home fans were silenced ten minutes after the break when Bousses raced onto a grubber kick for a try.
Rodriguez twisted the knife with a drop-goal and a penalty, and Thomas missed a last-gasp penalty for a bonus point.
