All in all we were treated to a damn good game of rugby.... The Boks deserved to win it and the baby blacks pushed them all the way - credit to them.
i would like to echo Daibok and bemoan the current amount of religion in the SA rugby setup.... its a ridiculous to thank god for anything that they have achieved - they achieved what they did on the back of their own endeavor. What if they had lost ? 'god' was with NZ then ?? or more ridiculous they were somehow being collectively punished or 'tested' by 'god' ??
if they wanted to thank someone.... thank each other, the coaching staff and their parents.

At least the kiwis now have a taste of what we have to go through in terms of not always having a great coach, etc. May I respectuflly submit to all kiwis that if SA had the level of coaching that NZ consistently enjoy, there would be nothing between the two nations. Most of SA's defeats have come due to off the field stuff - political interference, idiot coach, administrative wrangling, etc.

Fantastic display of rugby by both teams. South Africa has been amazing throughout the tournment and these guys are still teenagers!

NZ will win it back next year as the NZRFU will realise they made a mistake not putting Perenara and a few others into team- plus they should have made sure 8-9 players had ITM cup experience last year 2011. NZ was just to inexperienced this year for the final against a Bok team who had S15 and Vodacom cup players( Aus had S15 players, England had Aviva, Heineken cup players but didnt do either of them any good)
NZ has some Sevens players like Webber, Ardie Savea, Visinia still young enough to play world Under 20's next season.

Cmon guys learn to suck it in accept the defeat as this was not the normally good NZ team we are used to or a well coached tea, in fact there were many deficiencies in their play which would make me look not only at the coaching but the selections. Never mind he is Munster's problem now. So guys allow the saffas to crow they have every right to be proud of their team as they deserved their win and dont react to a sloppy piece of journalism after all it is his view.

Great game and occasion spoiled by inappropriate religious fervour.
Its a game not Jihad and this sort of thing is out of place.

Anybody who watched the comp including most kiwis on this site predicted an SA win in the final . The baby Blacks were just not as strong this year for obvious reasons and were not favourites. Congratulations go to the babyboks as they deserved the win but this article is nonsense.

Sorry but 4 different NZ teams won the last 4 tournaments, so how did it make them favourites for this years final?
Surely South Africa must of been favourites going on tournament form & home crowd support.
