I am very much looking foward to see how the pacific island nations will go. There is a huge P.I population in NZ & you can bet they'll be showing their support. I think it's great because those nations are never going to host a WC tourny but having it in NZ is as good as one. Samoa I think has a very dangerous team in particular.

@Rampage if you can't find the games on foxtel you can watch live streams & full match replays on irb.com.

The pacific island teams are going to shock some big guns at the WC this year. Samoa and Fiji look like teams that can beat any of the 6Nations. Remember wales v fiji 2007. The difference this time is wales, ireland, france and argentina are actually looking weak ahead of the world cup. So the islanders are gonna knock them out with ease, then the ABs wont have to choke cause the islanders will surrender when they meet in the semis.

Beanskin

That's pathetic.

The Boks were not in the world cup in 87 and 91 for a VERY GOOD REASON and shall we say that all those games in games in the aparthied era when touring teams couldn't tour South Affrica with their proper contingent should not count?

@bigb69 - the ELVs were mostly dumped because they were a short step from turning union into rugby league; if you want to watch the 13-man code then go and do so, but leave union as it is and whilst you're at it, lay off the conspiracy theories and/or booze.

@justcol can you let me know on what channel on Foxtel the IRB junior world championship pool games were televised and at what time (either EST or WST) ? Were they live? Were they highlights or were they reports? Can you assure me that whatever was shown on Foxtel were beamed into WA ? I would be interested to know. I have taken note as stated on the Australian Rugby Union website that the semis and finals will be played live on Foxtel. Unfortunately once again the sattelite signal is down and I cant check whether it will be screened here in the West so will need to check when the signal is back.

What an absolute diabolical report from Planet Rugby not even a score from the NZ Argentine game and no report, no report from the Australia France game. Unfortunately in Australia we have not been given any live television of the games by Foxtel quite usual in its failure to give rugby supporters a chance to watch top rugby. However when you can't even get a decent report from a website with rugby as its focus where can you get information. Well TVNZ website for the NZ game and ARU site for Australia game. Seems Foxtel will screen semis and finals. But sorry Planet Rugby your coverage is poor poor poor.

@ Nicholas41. No it doesn't cos if you read the comments on this site it will never happen. I need to point out adult NZers develop symptons in their throats which brings on attacks of choking every four years. NZ doctors are working hard to find a cure for this problem that first surfaced in 1991 and has continued unabated in 95,99, 03 and 07. There is a belief currently doing the rounds that they may have succeeded in solving the problem. The Chief Surgeon of NZ is reliably quoted as saying that it wont be until September/ October of this year before we will be sure that the problem has been cured. In the meantime "Go the Blacks."

On another wind up again I see but who out of NZ and England will be first to win the senior WC again, for the second time.

If baby NZ meet baby England in the final and root them by 30 points, does that mean that NZ (non baby version) will win the WC one day....?
