Munster are set to be boosted by the return of wing Simon Zebo to their squad for this Saturday's PRO12 game against Zebre at Thomond Park.
Zebo will take part in training this week as he recovers from a recent rib injury and it's expected he will feature in the upcoming match.
Munster though will monitor the fitness of several other players after their recent win against Edinburgh, as they revealed in a statement.
"Jack O'Donoghue (neck) continues to be monitored by the medical staff and isn't expected to be available this weekend," read the update.
"Jean Kleyn (ankle) underwent a scan and will meet a specialist for further consultation as will Dave O'Callaghan after receiving a bang to the shoulder in the 28-14 win at Thomond Park.
"There was better news for Conor Oliver who is now back in training after an ankle stinger while Stephen Archer and Keith Earls showed no ill effects from their return to action at the weekend.
"Donnacha Ryan was a late withdrawal from Saturday's game due to illness but is expected to train this week."
The update continued by saying that Peter O'Mahony (knee) was stepping up his rehabilitation by returning to full training, adding: "Colm O'Shea and Andrew Conway (both concussion) continue to follow their return to play protocols with Tommy O'Donnell (also concussion) now completing the final stages of his return to play.
"Rory Scannell (neck) is progressing positively and continues to take part in modified training while Dave Foley (elbow) has been ruled out for approximately 4 to 5 weeks."
It concluded by saying that Kevin O'Byrne (elbow), Sammy Arnold (knee), Mark Chisholm (concussion), Sean McCarthy (knee), Francis Saili (shoulder) and Mike Sherry (back) are continuing their rehabilitation.
