Leicester and England hooker Tom Youngs is set to return after a ten-week lay-off in the Premiership this weekend.

Youngs injured his shoulder in Leicester’s 45-0 defeat at Bath in September, but is now back in training.

Leicester will also welcome back three other internationals in Marcos Ayerza, Leonardo Ghiraldini and Vereniki Goneva, following the end of their international duty, to face Wasps at home this weekend.

There’s also more good news for Tigers fans, with Geoff Parling, Seremaia Bai and Christian Loamanu on their way back from injuries.

“We’re starting to get some bodies back now,” boss Richard Cockerill told the club’s website.

“Tom Youngs has been out for 10 weeks, but he has been training well this week and will be ready to play next week. He will be fresh and keen.

“We will see Leonardo when he gets back but to have two Test hookers available again is great. Harry Thacker has been very good for us too.”
