Wasps flanker Thomas Young says he will stay at the Coventry club despite the lure of international honours for Wales.
Wales have a tendency to pick players who ply their trade for a Welsh side but the loose-forward is adamant he’ll stay at Wasps, who have popular rugby odds.
“Everyone wants to play international rugby but I’ve had no conversations with anybody involved with Wales, so it’s about concentrating on improving my game here,” Young told The Rugby Paper.
“I’m happy at Wasps, this is where I want to be and all I’m thinking about is staying and, hopefully, helping us get better as a team. There’s a massive buzz around the club at the minute and as a playing squad we know there’s a lot more to come.
“I just want to keep cementing my place in our starting XV. Hask’s not far away now and he’ll be putting pressure on, but I want to keep that jersey and make selection as hard as possible.”
